Pokemon Platinum Version for Nintendo Wii U

About Pokemon Platinum Version for Nintendo Wii U

Pokemon Platinum Version expands the Sinnoh journey into its most complete form. You set out from Twinleaf Town to challenge gyms, stop Team Galactic and protect the lakes of Sinnoh. A strange tear in the world pulls the story toward the Distortion World, a twisted place where Giratina waits. Snowy routes, marshes and mountain paths give Sinnoh a colder and moodier feel than most Pokemon regions, and the adventure uses that mood well.

The heart of the game is building a balanced team and winning turn based battles with smart switches and type coverage. The Battle Frontier returns with clever facilities that test your team in fresh ways, and the improved Poketch keeps useful tools close at hand while you travel. With a longer story and tougher leaders than the earlier Sinnoh games, Platinum stands as the definitive way to experience this region and its legends. Sessions can stay short and sweet, or stretch much longer when a stage, battle or puzzle really grabs your attention.

If you want Pokemon Platinum Version now, think physical first. Nintendo closed the Wii U eShop in March 2023, which ended new digital purchases for good. A physical copy from a retailer is the straightforward route today, and good shops still trade Wii U games. Anyone who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so long time owners are not locked out of their library.

Sinnoh feels grandest when Giratina steps out of the shadows.
