Pikmin 3 lands three explorers of the planet Koppai on a beautiful world called PNF 404. Their ship crashes, their food runs low and the planet's fruit becomes their only hope of feeding their people. Lucky for them, the local Pikmin are eager to help. These tiny plant like creatures follow orders with total loyalty, carrying fruit, building bridges and fighting the planet's hungry wildlife. The world looks like a garden seen through a magnifying glass, full of dew, light and quiet wonder. Few games make small things feel this grand.

You lead Alph, Brittany and Charlie, often splitting the team to solve different tasks at once. Each Pikmin color brings a power: red Pikmin resist fire, yellow Pikmin handle electricity, blue Pikmin swim, and new rock and flying Pikmin smash and soar. Days pass quickly, so planning your routes and dividing jobs is the heart of the strategy. The Wii U GamePad shows a live map you can study while paused, which makes careful planning a pleasure. Boss creatures guard the richest fruit, and beating them without losing Pikmin is a proud achievement.
