Pac Man and The Ghostly Adventures for Nintendo 3DS

About Pac Man and The Ghostly Adventures for Nintendo 3DS

Pac Man and The Ghostly Adventures brings the cartoon series to life as a 3D platformer. Pac World is under threat from Lord Betrayus and his ghost army from the Netherworld, and young Pac steps up with his friends Spiral and Cylindria at his side. The bright world of Pacopolis, temples and icy lands matches the show look, and Pac still solves most problems the classic way. If it looks like food or a ghost, he eats it.

Levels mix jumping, exploring and chomping through ghost crowds. Power berries give Pac special forms, like ice breath, a bouncy rubber body and a knight form with a sword, and each opens new ways through the stages. Hidden fruit and tokens reward players who search behind every turn. The difficulty stays friendly for younger players while offering enough secrets to keep older fans busy. It is a cheerful and colorful platformer that treats Pac as the round hero a new generation met on television.

Collectors still have a clear path to this one. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. Seek out a physical cartridge from a retailer, checking the label and case where you can. Owners who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so early buyers lose nothing they already paid for.

It remains a title well worth finding on cartridge.
