Nintendogs + Cats: Golden Retriever and Friends for Nintendo 3DS

About Nintendogs + Cats: Golden Retriever and Friends for Nintendo 3DS

Nintendogs + Cats Golden Retriever and Friends centers its starting kennel on one of the most loved family dogs in the world. The Golden Retriever, friendly and eager, makes a fine first companion, and other breeds wait to join as your home grows. Kittens share the house too, adding their own quiet humor. The game is about small daily kindnesses. A good brush, a long walk and a thrown ball build a bond that feels surprisingly real.

Daily care mixes feeding and washing with play in the park and practice for obedience and agility contests. Your puppy learns its name and tricks through the microphone, and regular walks bring meetings, gifts and new routes to explore. Money from competitions buys nicer supplies and room decorations, while the camera features let your pets appear on your desk or floor in photos. Cats cannot be trained like dogs, but their independent charm rounds out the happiest handheld pet home of its time.

Genre	Simulation

Release	2011
Available on	Physical copies for Nintendo 3DS

There is one honest route to a copy today. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the way to go, and the market for classic handheld games stays lively. If you bought the game digitally before the closure, you can still access your purchased games on your own system.

This is one to treasure on the shelf and screen.
