Metroid Prime: Federation Force for Nintendo 3DS

About Metroid Prime: Federation Force for Nintendo 3DS

Metroid Prime Federation Force puts you inside the Galactic Federation rather than behind Samus visor. As a marine in a powered Mech suit, you join missions across the Bermuda system, clearing Space Pirate threats on icy, volcanic and desert worlds. The story runs alongside the Prime saga, showing the war from the soldiers side, with Samus appearing in a supporting role that ties the campaign to the wider series.

Missions are built for teamwork. Up to four players can tackle objectives together, carrying heavy items, splitting roles with weapon loadouts and reviving fallen teammates. Solo players receive support drones that keep the campaign fair alone. Loadout choices before each mission shape your role, from damage dealer to healer, and optional objectives reward squads that explore. The included Blast Ball mode turns the shooting into a fast three on three sport that many players loved on its own.

Federation Force had a boxed release and is easy to find second hand. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, and a cheap copy makes squad sessions simple to arrange. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and their marine records.

The Prime universe from a soldier point of view.
