Meitantei Conan: Marionette Symphony for Nintendo 3DS

About Meitantei Conan: Marionette Symphony for Nintendo 3DS

Meitantei Conan Marionette Symphony brings Detective Conan to Nintendo 3DS in an original mystery adventure. Conan Edogawa and the usual cast become involved with a theatre production where accidents and threats hide a deeper crime, and the marionette theme runs through the case in clues and character motives. The story is written in the spirit of the long running anime, with deductions, disguises and a final reveal that ties small details together. The theatre staff all have secrets, and each one sounds believable at first hearing.

Play follows the visual novel adventure pattern. You read scenes, examine places, collect evidence and choose how Conan questions suspects. At key moments the game tests your reasoning, asking you to connect clues and present the right proof, and wrong choices push you to rethink the case. Familiar voices and faces keep fans comfortable, while the self contained plot means newcomers can follow without knowing every arc of the huge Conan series.

Marionette Symphony was a Japan only release. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible now. The honest way to play is a physical cartridge from a retailer who imports Japanese games, and strong Japanese reading skill is important for a mystery like this. Fans who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and reopen the case at any time.

A theatre mystery only Conan could unravel.
