Marvel Disk Wars: Avengers Ultimate Heroes for Nintendo 3DS

About Marvel Disk Wars: Avengers Ultimate Heroes for Nintendo 3DS

Marvel Disk Wars Avengers Ultimate Heroes brings the Japanese Disk Wars Avengers anime to Nintendo 3DS. Young Akira and his friends hold DISKs, devices that can summon Avengers for short bursts of action after Loki scattered heroes and villains across the world. The story follows the children and their partner heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk and Wasp, as they fight to recover the villain DISKs before worse plans unfold.

The game plays as a stage based action adventure with a strong anime look. You move through missions, call in heroes at key moments and unleash signature moves against groups of enemies and boss villains. Different Avengers suit different fights, so picking which hero to summon becomes part of the strategy. Fans of the show will enjoy how closely the character art, voices and story beats follow the series, making this a Japan only curiosity for Marvel collectors.

This Avengers title stayed in Japan, which shapes how to find it. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible now. The honest way to play is a physical cartridge from a retailer who imports Japanese games, checking that the cart is genuine before adding it to a collection. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their systems as before.

An anime Avengers adventure that never left Japan.
