Mario Party Island Tour takes the party on holiday across a chain of themed boards. Bowser has set up towers and traps across the islands, and up to four players race along boards built around castles, space stations, jungles and shy guy tents. Unlike older entries, many boards reward reaching the finish first rather than collecting the most stars, which changes how every dice roll feels and keeps games moving at a brisk pace.

Each board bends the rules in its own way, with item cards, shortcut risks and Bowser spaces that can flip the standings.
