Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered for Nintendo Wii U

About Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered for Nintendo Wii U

Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered stars Grimm, a tiny grim reaper with a scythe, a big appetite and a craving for pizza. To reach his meal he must cross lands full of monsters, ghosts and grumpy creatures who all stand between him and a slice. The twist is that Grimm fights with words, spelling attacks from a grid of letter tiles. It is a word puzzle game wrapped in a charming little role playing adventure.

Each battle gives you a board of letters, and longer, rarer words deal heavier damage. Monsters fight back with tricks, poisoning tiles, locking letters or demanding words that meet special rules, so every fight is a fresh puzzle. Winning earns gems to spend on better scythes, books and potions between stages. Quests, treasure chests and tough boss fights keep the journey varied. This remastered edition adds a full second story path and an endless mode for word masters who refuse to put the scythe down.

The disc is your friend here in the present day. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible at all. A physical disc from a retailer is the honest way to own and play the game now. Owners who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their consoles.

Spell big, hit hard and save room for that pizza, Grimm.
