Legend of Kay Anniversary for Nintendo Wii U

About Legend of Kay Anniversary for Nintendo Wii U

Legend of Kay Anniversary brings back the story of Kay, a young cat who studies martial arts on the island of Yenching. When gorillas and rats invade under a cruel new order, Kay picks up his sword and sets out to free his home. The adventure mixes platforming, fighting and light puzzles in lush lands full of animal villages. This anniversary edition polishes the classic original with cleaner visuals and sound for modern screens.

Kay fights with combos, special moves and weapons he earns along the journey, facing gorilla soldiers, crocodiles and bigger bosses. Races and riding sections break up the exploring, including wild rides on boars and dragons that children especially love. The world opens across forests, swamps and mountains, each with secrets and side paths to reward the curious. It is a warm, old fashioned adventure in the best sense, full of heart, humor and honest challenge for younger players and nostalgic fans alike.

Modern buyers should start with the disc shelf. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, ending new digital purchases across the console. A physical disc from a retailer is the honest way to play it now, and copies turn up often in second hand shops. Players who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games as before.

Sharpen your sword, young Kay, because Yenching needs you.
