Iron Combat: War in the Air for Nintendo 3DS
About Iron Combat: War in the Air for Nintendo 3DS
Iron Combat War in the Air is a flight action game where you pilot an advanced combat unit that can change form for air and ground fighting. Enemy forces threaten the skies, and your machine is sent on mission after mission to push them back. The story is told in brief military beats between sorties, keeping the focus on the action. High speed battles above clouds, seas and military sites give the game a bold arcade flavor.
Combat mixes shooting with quick form changes. In the air you chase and blast enemy craft with locked on fire, while grounded form lets you fight with a heavier and more direct style. Switching at the right moment is the heart of the game, turning desperate moments into comebacks. Missions are short and score driven, which suits handheld sessions, and later stages demand sharp movement and fast decisions. It is a compact but memorable aerial shooter on the system.

Finding this game now works differently than it once did. Nintendo closed the Nintendo 3DS eShop in March 2023, which ended new digital purchases for the system. The practical route is a physical cartridge, found through a retailer, a games shop or a careful online seller. Owners of a digital copy bought before the closure can still access their purchased games without trouble. Checking the cartridge label and region first saves trouble later.
It still earns its place in any Nintendo 3DS collection.
