Injustice: Gods Among Us for Nintendo Wii U

About Injustice: Gods Among Us for Nintendo Wii U

Injustice: Gods Among Us tells a dark superhero story where Superman has become a tyrant ruling Earth with an iron fist. Batman leads the resistance and summons heroes from another world to help free this one. The plot moves like a comic book event, with famous faces picking sides and clashing in huge battles. It remains one of the finest superhero stories ever told in a game, serious and gripping from the first scene to the last.

Fights are heavy and cinematic, built on combos, special moves and stages you can smash your rivals through. Throw a foe into a background object, knock them through a wall into a new arena, or unleash a super move that fills the whole screen. Every character plays differently, from gadget fighters to pure powerhouses, and the clash system adds betting drama to close rounds. Story mode, battles, training and online play round out a generous package for fighting fans.

Playing this one today means thinking about discs. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, which ended new digital purchases for the system. The honest option now is a physical disc from a retailer, and plenty of shops still stock Wii U games at fair prices. Anyone who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games as normal.

Pick a side, because this war splits the whole hero world.
