Harvest Moon Skytree Village is set in a land that was once green and full of life. The people drifted away from the Harvest Goddess, her power faded, and the land dried out around the village of Skytree. As the new farmer, you work to revive the seven Skytrees and bring water and people back. Villagers return as the land heals, and their requests help guide your farm from dry soil to a busy and happy home.

Land shaping returns in a simpler form, letting you raise fields and guide water to dry places. New crops appear as mutations that depend on where and how you grow them, which rewards careful farming experiments. Fishing, mining and animal care round out the days, and a cast of marriage candidates settles in the village as it grows. The story gives your daily work a clear purpose, since every new tree brings visible life back to the land.
