Garfield Kart for Nintendo 3DS

About Garfield Kart for Nintendo 3DS

Garfield Kart puts the famous lasagna loving cat and his friends on the race track. Garfield, Odie, Jon and the rest of the cast hop into small karts and speed through colorful circuits based on their cartoon world. The mood is silly from the first lap, with playful tracks, goofy items and plenty of gentle rivalry. It is a racing game that cares more about laughs and close finishes than strict realism.

You drift around corners, grab items and use them to slow rivals or protect your lead. Pies, magic wands and other cartoon tools can turn a race around in seconds, so no position feels safe for long. Grand prix events link several races into one contest, while single races suit a quick go. Different karts and drivers change the feel slightly, and learning each track layout is the real key to winning cups.

Buying this one now works a little differently than it once did. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play Garfield Kart today is a physical cartridge from a retailer. Anyone who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so early owners are not locked out of their collection. Prices can vary a lot between shops, so it is worth comparing a few sellers before you decide on a copy.

It still holds a warm place in the Nintendo 3DS library.
