Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends for Nintendo 3DS

About Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends for Nintendo 3DS

Gardening Mama 2 Forest Friends brings the gentle Mama series back to the garden on Nintendo 3DS, this time at the edge of a friendly forest. Mama guides you through planting and caring for flowers, fruits and vegetables, while animal neighbors visit with requests and thanks. The forest friends give the chores a warm purpose, since what you grow can become gifts, decorations and treats for the creatures who share your woods. Everything is calm, colorful and encouraging from the first seed onward.

The gardening itself is a chain of touch screen mini games. You dig, water, weed and harvest with strokes and taps, earning better tools and new plants as your garden grows. A shop and crafting side let you turn your harvest into items, which adds a light goal beyond simply growing things well. Dozens of plants and plenty of decorations keep the garden changing with your taste. Sessions are short and restful, making this a lovely game to tend for a few minutes each day like a real plant.

Gardeners today should note the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to start your forest garden now. Players who bought Gardening Mama 2 digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS, keeping their garden, tools and animal friendships growing quietly on their own system whenever they return to tend them.

A garden grows best when it is grown for friends.
