FIFA 14: Legacy Edition for Nintendo 3DS

About FIFA 14: Legacy Edition for Nintendo 3DS

FIFA 14 Legacy Edition brought the famous football series to Nintendo 3DS with a huge range of clubs, leagues and national teams. The Legacy Edition name means the focus sits on updated squads, kits and competitions rather than a rebuilt engine, so the game plays in the familiar FIFA handheld style. For football fans at the time, having real teams and players in a pocket game was the main draw, and the season content kept matches feeling current across a long year of play.

On the pitch, the game offers quick matches, tournaments and career style play where you guide a club through fixtures and transfers in a light form. Controls map the basics of passing, shooting and tackling to simple inputs, with touch options for set pieces and through balls. Matches move quickly, which suits handheld sessions on the move. Building a run of wins with a favorite team stays satisfying, and playing a full tournament in short sittings is easy thanks to the snappy structure of each fixture.

Shoppers today face a closed digital door, because the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023 and new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to own FIFA 14 now. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS, so their favorite clubs and tournament progress remain available for a quick match whenever football fever strikes them again.

Real teams and quick matches in classic handheld form.
