Bloody Vampire for Nintendo 3DS

About Bloody Vampire for Nintendo 3DS

Bloody Vampire is a side view adventure with a gothic heart. You play Latis, a girl who is half human and half vampire, drawn to a mysterious castle tied to her hidden past. Inside wait traps, monsters and other vampires with their own dark plans. The game mixes exploring, light role playing growth and simple real time battles across connected castle halls. Its moody art and story focus give it a different flavor from most action games on the system.

Latis fights with magic and a loyal bat companion who helps in battle and in solving small problems. Coins collected from enemies can be traded for stronger gear and new skills, so exploring side rooms always feels worth it. Saving often is wise, since tough rooms can drain health quickly. The castle is one large connected place, and new abilities slowly open doors that were locked before. Story scenes between areas explain the curse and the rivals waiting in the dark.

This lesser known adventure now needs a physical search. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play it is a physical cartridge from a retailer, if a copy can be found at all. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system. Import and second hand listings are the most likely places to spot one.

It is a moody little castle tale for patient explorers.
