Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale for Nintendo 3DS

About Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale for Nintendo 3DS

Attack of the Friday Monsters A Tokyo Tale is a gentle adventure set in a small Japanese town in the early nineteen seventies. Young Sohta has just moved there, and every Friday, giant monsters from the television shows filmed nearby appear outside town. The game captures a childs view of summer, full of errands, new friends, secret bases and one wonderful mystery after another.

Play is about walking the town, talking with neighbors and collecting monster cards for a simple and charming card game played with other children. There are no real battles and no game over, just a warm story that unfolds at walking pace. The hand drawn look and quiet music make the town feel real and loved. It is a short game, but one that stays in the memory for years. Collectors will enjoy hunting for every last secret, while casual players can simply follow the main path and still feel satisfied.

The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge bought from a retailer or a trusted game shop. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system, so long time owners have not lost their copies.

Handheld gaming at its most charming and personal.
