Atooi Collection for Nintendo 3DS

About Atooi Collection for Nintendo 3DS

Atooi Collection gathers several charming games from the Atooi studio into one handheld package. The stars of the show are the Mutant Mudds adventures, where young Max battles muddy monsters with a water cannon and a jetpack across clever layered stages. Alongside them sit other small gems, including the space exploring adventure Xeodrifter, making the collection feel like a tour of a small studios best work.

Each game in the bundle has its own flavor, from careful platforming to light shooting and exploration. The Mutant Mudds stages play with depth, sending you between foreground and background layers to find secrets. Xeodrifter brings a compact space adventure with boss fights and new abilities that open old areas. Together they offer many hours of neat, well made indie fun in a single cartridge sized package. Difficulty stays fair throughout, offering a real challenge in the late stages without sudden spikes that would frustrate new players. Collectors will enjoy hunting for every last secret, while casual players can simply follow the main path and still feel satisfied.

Collectors still track down Atooi Collection, and they do it the physical way. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible for anyone. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play today. Those who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so early buyers remain well served.

Small, sincere and well worth a place on the shelf.
