Armillo for Nintendo Wii U

About Armillo for Nintendo Wii U

Armillo stars a brave little armadillo rolling through space to save his home planet from a robot invasion. Trapped inside a rolling metal sphere, Armillo races along twisting paths, smashes enemies and collects orbs across colorful worlds. The game mixes fast rolling stages with side view sections that slow things down for jumping and exploring. The story is simple and sweet, with Armillo fighting to free his family and his world from the Darkbots. Bright colors and cheerful music keep the adventure feeling light from start to finish.

Rolling feels great once you get the hang of tilting through curves and bouncing off bumpers at speed. Each world adds new ideas, like rails to grind, cubes to push and switches that reshape the path ahead. Hidden areas reward players who wander off the main route, and time bonuses push skilled players to master every stage. The mix of speedy rolling and careful platforming keeps the pace fresh.

The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so buying a fresh digital copy is no longer an option today. The honest way to enjoy it now is a physical disc from a retailer who still stocks Wii U games. If you picked it up digitally before the closure, you can still access your purchased games on your console, since earlier purchases remain tied to your account and ready to play whenever you switch the system on.

It still holds up beautifully today.
