Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom for Nintendo 3DS

About Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom for Nintendo 3DS

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom sends Finn and Jake beyond the borders of Ooo into a forgotten land of four small kingdoms. Three princesses have vanished on the eve of choosing a ruler, and Princess Bubblegum dispatches our heroes to sort the mess out. The setup gives the game a classic adventure shape: wild lands to cross, temples to explore and a mystery tying the whole nameless kingdom together.

Exploration and puzzle solving lead the way. Jake’s many forms become tools for the journey, stretching into bridges, keys and other handy shapes, while Finn handles the sword work and item tricks. Temples mix traps, switches and boss fights in the grand old style, and the lands between them are full of odd citizens with problems worth solving. It is the most classic feeling of the Adventure Time games and a treat for old school quest fans. The world map stitches the kingdoms together with shortcuts and secrets, so backtracking for a missed item often reveals a path you never noticed before.
