Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations for Nintendo Wii U

About Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations for Nintendo Wii U

Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations turns the heroes of Ooo into detectives for hire. Strange things keep happening across the land, and it is up to Finn and Jake to question witnesses, gather clues and solve each case. The game plays like a classic point and click adventure dressed in the bright colors of the show. Every case is written with the same silly humor fans love, and the original voice cast brings the characters to life. It feels like playing through a season of mini episodes.

Cases mix exploring, talking and light puzzle solving with short bursts of action when Finn needs to swing his sword. Jake stretches and shapeshifts to reach clues in clever places, and the banter between the two heroes never stops. The mysteries are family friendly, with twists that younger players can follow and jokes that adults will enjoy too. Moving around colorful locations from the show is a treat for long time fans. It is a gentle detective adventure powered by charm, friendship and a lot of goofy dialogue.

It is worth knowing that the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, which means nobody can buy this game digitally anymore. A physical disc from a retailer is now the honest way to play it. Anyone who bought the digital version before the closure can still access their purchased games on their own console. Many fans enjoy hunting down a tidy boxed copy, since Wii U discs have become small collector items in recent years.

It still holds up beautifully today.
