Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy for Nintendo 3DS

About Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy for Nintendo 3DS

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy reimagines the story of a classic entry for the 3DS. The year is 1998 on the Usean continent, and rebel forces have seized territory in a sudden uprising. You are Phoenix, a skilled mercenary pilot hired to push them back one mission at a time. What begins as escort work grows into a war full of superweapons, rival aces and hard choices, told with the series’ trademark drama.

Combat feels close and personal thanks to the assault system, which lets you lock into a high speed chase right behind an enemy and tear them apart at close range. Missions vary nicely, from defending fleets to striking bases hidden in canyons, and you pick your jet and loadout before every sortie. Downed enemies and mission ranks feed your progress, and the best pilots earn the finest aircraft in the hangar. The 3D effect earns its keep in the canyon runs, where cliffs rush past your wings and altitude suddenly feels very real indeed.

A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play now. Players who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and return to Usea anytime.

A dramatic and satisfying chapter of Ace Combat in handheld form.
